Buying At Auction

For those of you who wish to buy your horses at auction, employing the services of a reputable and licensed Bloodstock Agent can be a great option. A good agents job is to understand the market, research the pedigrees, know the updates and know the opportunities of future upsides in the pedigree. A good agent will also be able to assist with inspections and identifying a potential high-class racehorse or breeding prospect.

Bruce Perry prides himself on doing plenty of homework and research and attends many auctions including many of the major New Zealand and Australian Sales. He also attends the Tattersalls Nov/Dec Breeding stock Sales and their July Sales.

If he can't personally attend a sale for some reason, Bruce has a number of International Agents who he works in with.

FEES & CHARGES

Bruce Perry Bloodstock Ltd normally charge a 
   commission equal to of 5% of the purchase price.
   This may vary depending on the sale location and 
   the costs and time involved.

All fees are subject to 12.5 % GST if the horse is 
   located in New Zealand.
